We’re all still going strong on our mission to eat less processed foods. Luckily for us, we’ve found Savour this Sauce to help jazz up our clean meals without all the mystery ingredients hidden in most salad dressings! This week we are using their Thai Chile Cilantro dressing to top our salad of the week. As the weather continues to heat up, we can no longer hide under sweaters, pants and snowsuits: (But, we are giving a solid effort to walk the beach without a cover up – starting with our #bathingsuitfriendly summer recipes! We are in this coverup struggle together – let’s control our portions!! LOL…but, like seriously.
There is no substitute for hard workouts and a healthy diet…. which is a real bummer because we’ve been looking for one. However, are we the only ones that find salads can get boring?! There’s only so much greens and balsamic a girl can take! So when Savor This Sauce, sent a dressing our way that was a way more fun, our salad exploration was reinvigorated! It’s a really simple recipe, but the raw vegan dressing adds a ton of flavor and we are thinking flavor without all the calories is just what our swimsuit selves need…!
* 2 cups of mixed greens and sharp arugula
* 1/2 cup of kale
* 1 grapefruit — cut up into small slices
* 1/4 cup crumbled feta
* (Optional) add chicken or some soybeans for some more protein!
