Spring – Pattern & Floral Jeans

Floral for Spring 2013

Dear Diary,

Who’s following the printed pants trend? I personally love it! As much as I love COLOR, I found these grey patterned jeans and couldn’t resist. My style is simple and I’m constantly on the go so I love when a trend is fun and easy to put together. I’ve personally never mastered the art of layering…Maybe eventually?! That’s why I love feeling stylish when all I have to do is pull my pants up.

I recently got my denim from Forever 21, but was unable to locate them online. I did, however, find a very similar pair here. (See below for more links!)

They were under $20 so I didn’t even have to risk the loss of a pair of perfectly good denim to an art project/experiment. (Why not try painting or spray painting a stencil onto your jeans, or use bleach and a stamp to create your own pattern! One of a kind wear!)

I created this T-back tank effect awhile back (pre-blogging) by using the extra length in the tank and sewing it onto the back of the then halter. I can do a tutorial on this, however, I found this fun braided tank DIY on WobiSobi  that has a similar look. Okay, okay…I’m being lazy, but it’s an adorable tank and very straight forward.
